Magnesia Gunning Mass is a spray-applied refractory material used to repair high-temperature industrial furnaces and equipment particularly converters, electric arc furnaces (EAFs), snorkels, and ladles. A blend of magnesia (MgO), binders, and additives is delivered by specialized gunning equipment and projected onto the target surface, enabling fast, efficient repairs, even in hard-to-reach areas.
Large precast refractory shapes are engineered monolithic components manufactured off-site using high-performance refractory castables. These shapes are tailored for specific applications in high-temperature industrial equipment such as EAF, LF roofs, ladles, tundishes, and reheat furnaces.
They are an effective alternative to in-situ casting or brick lining, offering superior quality control, faster installation, and improved performance.
Magnesia Carbon (MgO-C) bricks are premium refractory materials engineered for the extreme conditions of steelmaking processes, including ladles, electric arc furnaces (EAFs), and basic oxygen furnaces (BOFs). By integrating high-purity fused magnesia, graphite, and advanced additives, these bricks deliver unmatched resistance to thermal shock, slag corrosion, and oxidation.
Designed for critical zones such as slag lines, metal baths, and high-wear areas, our MgO-C bricks ensure extended campaign life, reduced downtime, and enhanced operational efficiency—while prioritizing safety and environmental sustainability.
Our range of precast and prefabricated high-performance blocks is designed with a customized blend of raw material aggregates, fine additives, and matrix concepts to withstand conditions ranging from standard to very severe in steelmaking covering applications from steel ladles to tundishes. The portfolio includes engineered blocks for reheating furnaces, burner blocks, EAF deltas, and slag racker blocks, offering exceptional robustness and strength.
Over the years, IFGL has established itself as a trusted provider of precast solutions, working in close combination with purging blocks and ISO refractories for tundishes. Our blocks are developed as per the design requirements of purging systems and tundish furniture such as dams, weirs, monoboxes, and impact pads based on advanced simulation studies tailored to specific shop-floor operations.
The product range caters to steel plants of all sizes, from small ladles (10–15 tons) to large steel ladles (up to 350 tons).
