Monocon International Refractories Ltd (MIRL) established in 1973 in Doncaster South Yorkshire UK with a global manufacturing footprint across China, UK & USA and a producer of premium high quality Refractory products like Metallurgical n Desulphurisation Lance, Basic and Alumina Monolithics, Activated Gel Cast Precast Shapes primarily used in Iron and Steel Sector including the Rolling Mills. Monocon also has In house state of art engineering and robotics division delivering solutions to customers to enable them work in safe and a reliable manner away from the heat and dust.

Hofmann Ceramic GmbH established in 1937, has set the benchmark in high-quality ceramic manufacturing. The company proudly serves the European market through its facilities in Germany. Continuous improvement and the quality upgradation have always been key hallmarks of Hofmann Ceramic. In 2008, Hofmann Ceramic was acquired by IFGL.
EI Ceramics
E.I. Ceramics (EIC) established in 2002 and based in Ohio, United States. The company specializes in the design, manufacture, and supply of high-quality, optimized continuous casting products and accessories, including tundish nozzles, ladle shrouds, stopper rods, gaskets, and more. The technical competence and infrastructural excellence of EIC helps it in meeting precise buyer requirements. EIC was acquired by IFGL in 2010.
Sheffield Refractories Limited
Sheffield Refractories Limited (SRL) is a leading manufacturer and installer of advanced, high-quality monolithic refractories products. The company specializes in blast furnace casthouse products, shotcreting materials, and a extensive range of other specialized monolithic products used in the Iron & Steel, Cement, Incineration, and Waste-to-Energy industries. SRL’s manufacturing facility is located in Sheffield, UK, and was acquired in 2023.

IFGL’s joint venture with Marvels International Group (MIG) and Marvels Refractories (MRL) strengthening legacy of over four decades in the ferrous segment. MRL, a global leader in refractories solutions across industries such as cement, glass regeneration, non-ferrous metals, coal & petroleum, coke gasifiers, steel, and lime calcination, brings its expertise to this collaboration. By establishing a cutting-edge refractories plant in India, this partnership aligns with the 'Make in India' vision, reducing reliance on imports and fostering self-sufficiency in the cement industry.
