Shotcrete is a spray-applied refractory lining where semi-wet refractory material is pumped to a nozzle and projected at high velocity onto a target surface. It sets and bonds quickly, forming a dense monolithic layer.
The material is blended in a high-speed, high-intensity mixer, ensuring precise control over water addition under optimal mixing conditions. This process produces properties comparable to vibrocast low-cement castables. Additionally, the material is extensively deflocculated, which ensures smooth pumping and enables transportation over considerable distances and heights.
