The main components are the fixed top plate, movable middle plate, and fixed bottom plate, offering high hot strength, superior corrosion resistance, and abrasion resistance. Available quality grades include carbon-injected Alumina-C, Alumina-Zr-C, Mag-Sp-C, and zirconia insert types.
Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) slide gate refractories are used for teeming molten steel from the EAF to the ladle. These refractories provide high hot strength along with superior corrosion and abrasion resistance. Available grades include carbon-injected Alumina-C, Alumina-Zr-C, and Mag-Sp-C.
