Gaskets

Sealing Gaskets are used for Ladle Shroud and Sub Entry Shroud applications to form air tight connections with the Collector Nozzle, Tundish Nozzle and Tundish Slide Gate bottom plate.

The gaskets act as load spreaders to minimise flange cracking, help to prevent steel sticking with the nozzles and easy detachment of Ladle Shroud / Sub Entry Shroud at the end of casting.

The gaskets when used in conjunction with inert gas purging help to improve steel quality by preventing air ingress through the junction.
