SAIL Bhilai Registers Record-Breaking Bloom Casting Sequence With IFGL Tundish

On 3 June 2023, SAIL Bhilai Steel Plant SMS-2 CASTER-5 registered the highest ever bloom casting sequence of 300 Heats with Tundish Flying. IFGL congratulates the entire SAIL Bhilai team for this record-breaking achievement.
In addition, the SAIL Bhilai team also set a record of 19 heats (21 hours 12 minutes / 2,256 Ton of Steel Cast) with IFGL Tundish. We are proud to be a part of this achievement, and look forward to more such success stories in future.
