We are proud to announce that our new greenfield project of IFGL at Visakhapatnam has started operations. With an operating capacity of 12.5 metric tons (MT), the facility will primarily handle the commercial production of monolithics and precast shapes. The overall installed capacity is 15K MT per annum.

We are proud to announce that our new greenfield project of IFGL at Visakhapatnam started operations in 2021.

Commercial production of specialised refractory precast shapes, with an installed capacity of 15k MT per annum started recently in March 2023.

This is in addition to the existing Monolithics plant, which has an installed capacity of 48K MT p.a. and has been running successfully since September 2021.

To meet the diverse buyer requirements, more products will also be manufactured at this facility soon. Further expansion plans are already in place, for new product lines – like casting fluxes, refractory bricks, and more.

The existing Monolithics plant, which has an installed capacity of 48K MT p.a., will also continue its operations. Since September 2021, all products manufactured here are tested and approved by our steel plant customers.

With the fully functional Visakhapatnam plant, we are now all set to add new product lines to the entire IFGL group for the domestic & export markets.
