IFGL Earns Diamond Rating at the 9th CII National 5S Excellence Awards 2024

In a remarkable achievement, IFGL Refractories Limited has been honoured with the highly prestigious Diamond Rating in the manufacturing factory at the 9th CII National 5S Excellence Awards 2024 which was held on 10th December, 2024 in Chandigarh, India . This prestigious recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to operational efficiency and our dedication to establishing a clean, well-organized, and productive work atmosphere. 

The CII National 5S Excellence Awards offered a platform for companies to learn from industry leaders, share best practices, and earn the prestigious 5S certification. There were 3 certifications, the Platinum certification (for companies who achieved an audit site of 85%), the Diamond certification (for companies who achieved an audit site of 70%- 85%), and the Gold certification (for companies who achieved an audit site of 50%- 70%). These certifications are valid for one year and are a crucial accreditation that highlights a company’s dedication to quality, operational excellence, and employee welfare. 

The Diamond Rating was awarded to IFGL, symbolizing the success of our company in incorporating the 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain). The entire team of IFGL including Rourkela and Kandla contributed to making the workplace very productive and vibrant. 100% involvement of employees in keeping the workplace clean, tidy, and productive is a successful mass movement. Our teamwork, passion, and discipline for constant improvement have proven to be beneficial for raising operational excellence to new levels.
