Promoting education and equal opportunities for children from less-privileged backgrounds has always been a priority for the IFGL Group. We recently collaborated with a primary school in Kandla Special Economic Zone (SEZ), and helped in setting up multiple important infrastructure facilities over there. The school has facilities for Class I to Class VIII education.

Our assistance services for the KASEZ primary school included the following :

• Uniforms, shoes & socks for children
• Conversion of a toilet from Indian to English system
• 2 wall fans set up in classrooms
• Repair & AMC of RO system, ensuring availability of safe drinking water
• Side ramp for easy and safe handicapped access
• Room partition for creating office / store space
