The three-day (from November 16 – 18) IREFCON 2022 event was a big success for IFGL Refractories. Informative case study papers, highlighting key technical solutions, were presented by Mr. Sachi Dulal Majumdar (our VP – Technology), along with other noted speakers. These sessions were very well-received and appreciated. Mr. Majumdar presented the following papers:

• No-cement refractory castable – A new horizon (with Arindam Mukherjee, Elkem South Asia Pvt Ltd).
• Development performance alumina spinel of high precast prefired refractory for tundish application (with Shankha Chatterjee, Almatis Alumina Pvt Ltd, India).
• Development of improved quality castable of BF Trough Cover Manipulator (with Nabakrishna Bera, Tata Steel Ltd).

The overwhelming response we received at IREFCON 2022 has given us fresh inspiration to keep pursuing innovation & excellence in our operations.
